Answer: Introduction The decision of Donald Trump's Trade War with China had a significant impact on the economy. the newspaper article on whether Donald Trump the president of America will be starting a trade war with China infers that after the election, Trump has soften his tone regarding the various issues he has campaigned on. Discussion Although Trump had hailed the alliances with South Korea and Japan, he was not determined about tying up with China. It has been identified that it is of no value to make things difficult for China in political way. As per the US-China traders, the declaration of Trump regarding the bilateral economy is an unprofessional move. It is expected that China will consider countermeasures, if Trump includes China in the list of currency manipulator and implements steep tariffs on the import of China[1]. Declaring China as a currency manipulator will increase the pressure on the Yuans appreciation. The reputation of China will be further hampered and the trade environment between China and US will also become tensed. If there is an imposition of 45 percent tariff on the import of China, the trade relation between US and China will be paralysed[2]. After Barack Obama had taken the position, a 35 percent import tariff was charged on the tires of China. As revenge, China imposed tariffs on the US chicken and the automotive products, thus, both the economy suffered a loss. Conclusion Therefore, the trade war with China will cause China to take tit-for-tat approaches which includes replacing Boeing with Airbus, halting of the auto, iPhone, maize and other products.
